stephanie_cc.jpgStephanie Schuler joined the WMDT weather team as the weekend Meteorologist in October of 2008. Before coming to Salisbury, Stephanie worked in Uniontown, Pennsylvania as the Chief Meteorologist at HSTV News 19. She joined News 19 in November of 2006. Stephanie was very active in the community in Uniontown. She volunteered for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Laurel Region, and hopes to continue outreach programs on the Eastern Shore.

She graduated from California University of Pennsylvania in 2006 with a bachelor’s of science degree in Broadcast Meteorology. Stephanie spent the summer of 2005 interning at WTAE in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was named California University’s Television Meteorologist of the Year for 2005-2006.

Stephanie is an active member in the American Meteorology Society (AMS) and was a student volunteer for AMS during their Annual meetings in 2005 and 2006. Stephanie was also the chairperson of the AMS Student Outreach Program for California University of Pennsylvania’s Meteorology Club.

Stephanie’s passion for meteorology started at a young age. She says that weather is something she grew up watching as a child and she always knew that she would be a meteorologist someday!

Stephanie’s hobbies include playing tennis, golfing, and skiing. She loves going to the beach and crabbing! Stephanie is very excited to be a new member of the WMDT 47 weather team.
